The exhibition foregrounds ideas that rethink water management in a disrupted future. We explored three clusters Revealing Traces, Reusing Flows, and Regenerating Routes each outlining possible directions for Sicily’s emerging water landscape.
Projects that make the traces of water scarcity legible: consumption, losses, quality, and the footprint of use.
Projects that intercept and redirect material flows otherwise destined for dissipation: greywater, sediments, biomass, and residual by-products.
Projects addressing the regeneration of degraded sites and territories: abandoned agricultural land, marginal areas, and urban fragments in need of renewal.
