Comune di Milano encourages services which provide alternate less-energy consuming solutions to citizens. Klēn is a network of ultrasonic cloth-washing devices spread across Milan, placed in public spaces. It provides an alternate mode of cleaning clothes to citizens which is affordable, less resource consuming and accessible, primarily meant for people who live alone.
