Milan, 2023 - 2028. The rise of energy costs is dragging the city’s most vulnerable citizens, including public housing residents, into a deepening state of energy poverty. People are responding by coming together in communities but they often meet lack of tools and resources to do so. Promitheas provides an alternative access to domestic energy. The service allows people to generate biogas from domestic organic waste and provides a portable stove to use the produced energy in an efficient and versatile way.
